WF House Shelf

A house-shaped storage shelf that makes a streetscape appear in your room. The shelves are available in different heights and sizes so that you can store picture books and illustrated guides of various sizes. There are four types, so you can combine multiple units instead of just one. Only the "060 type" is a storage box with casters.

Made from solid cypress wood, the finish allows you to see the natural grain, knots, and shading of the wood. A technique called Uzukuri processing is used so that you can enjoy the texture of the wood with your eyes and skin. By rubbing and polishing the surface of the wood, the soft parts of the annual rings are scraped off, and the grain of the wood stands out beautifully. You can choose the color of the shelves.

Yu Watanabe
Born in Tokyo in 1929. After graduating from the Department of Industrial Design at Chiba University, he became a self-employed designer. He has served as chairman of the Japan Interior Designers Association and professor at Chiba Institute of Technology. In response to a strong call from Hiromatsu Mokko, he has begun designing children's furniture based on a completely new concept. In a short period of time, he has developed a number of unique pieces of furniture, including the innovative Kids' Furniture.
