For details about the showroom, please contact us with the name of the product you are considering.
Products are divided into made-to-order products and in-stock products. Information can be found on each product page.
We mainly use natural wood, but depending on the design, we also use other materials (cotton, linen, plaster, linoleum, aluminum, iron, etc.) to create our furniture. We use different natural woods, such as maple, oak, cherry, walnut, padauk, wenge, teak, pine, and cypress, depending on the concept and purpose of the furniture. We also develop original fabrics for sofas and chair covers to pursue the style of Hiromatsu Mokko, and use thick canvas and high-quality linen that is gentle on the skin to create fabrics with unique tastes and textures.
Standard specification products are completed after repeated verification of design balance and structure, so they are the specifications we recommend the most. However, if the product does not fit in your room or is not suitable for your purpose, please contact us. We will check whether a custom size change is possible, and if so, provide you with a quote for a custom-made product. Please contact us with your desired product name, size, and material type.
In-stock items take about 10 days, while made-to-order items take about 1.5 to 2.5 months. Due to the characteristics of natural wood, curing periods are taken at key points and the product is carefully finished by craftsmen, so delivery times may vary.
We aim to create products that take advantage of the texture and characteristics of solid wood, and we use a natural oil finish on many of our products.
The comfortable texture and gentle luster of wood are its charms. Oil-finished furniture can be easily maintained at home with oil, and the flavor deepens as the years go by. We also create products that make the most of the wood's flavor, such as soap finishes and colored oil finishes.
By using the balance board attached to the storage furniture, it is possible to adjust the misalignment of the doors.
At Hiromatsu Mokko, we manufacture furniture that makes the most of the natural colors of wood. Natural wood is unique, and the grain, knots, and color of each piece are always different. We hope you enjoy the one-of-a-kind color and grain of each piece.
When spinning natural fibers such as cotton and flax, knots can form in the fibers. These are called neps. We hope you will understand that neps are part of the simple character of natural materials such as cotton and linen.
It is listed for each product. For details, please see " About Finishing ".
About Hiromatsu Woodworks
The company was founded in 1950 in Okawa, Fukuoka Prefecture. It started out as a woodworking shop that made wooden desks, but in the 1970s, with a desire to make furniture for everyday life, the company teamed up with a designer partner and began manufacturing original furniture.
Starting with the "SHAKER" series, which has become the core of Hiromatsu Mokko and was born from the desire to continue its traditions, and the "SONO" series, which was born from an idea by a craftsman in the 1990s, the company continues to develop and manufacture furniture that people will want to use for a long time, even after many years.
We make our products by taking advantage of the natural qualities of the materials, such as by using an oil finish on natural wood. Our goal is to create furniture that is simple and full of originality. Each piece is carefully finished by our craftsmen so that it can be sent out as a tool that fits comfortably in the hand.
Hiromatsu Mokko creates products that make the most of the texture of the material. They have developed various series such as "SANTA FE PLAZA" and "GALA" that mainly use an oil finish that allows you to directly feel the texture and expression of the material, and a unique destressing process that allows you to feel the charm of the material's aging. Common to all series is the pursuit of "Hiromatsu Mokko-ness" that is not bound by taste or trends.
At Hiromatsu Mokko, we make furniture from properly managed wood, and we also make efforts to utilize the scraps that are generated during the production process and engage in various support activities.
<About the initiative>
Development of "SONO Beans" and "SONO Clay", products that utilize scrap materials.
We have begun an initiative to support activities to protect the earth and the future by donating a portion of the sales of products made from scrap wood to the forest conservation organization "more trees" and the Japan Committee for UNICEF, which protects the lives and health of children.
We support children's facilities and the recovery of disaster-stricken areas through our own charity auctions.
We sent a furniture repair team to help customers after the earthquake.

Maintenance supplies can be purchased here .
For oil-finished wooden furniture, we recommend regular oil maintenance. Oil maintenance also has a moisturizing effect and prevents the wood from drying out. Oil also has the effect of making the furniture less susceptible to dirt.
You can maintain it in the following ways:
[Sofa cover: Pietra Doppio Ruga] Can be washed in your home washing machine.
[Sofa cover: MORE] Can be dry cleaned.
*Chair seats and other items that have integrated cushioning cannot be washed.
[Sofa inner cushion] After removing the cover, it is recommended to dry the inner cushion in the shade on a sunny day. When doing so, tap the cushion lightly to let air in.
Scratches on the surface of your furniture can be repaired at home.
