As a furniture maker that has always benefited from nature's gifts, Hiromatsu Furniture is committed to protecting the environment and contributing to a sustainable future for generations to come.

At Hiromatsu Furniture, we craft our furniture using responsibly sourced wood. Each piece of timber represents a precious resource, nurtured over many years. We strive to utilize every part of this valuable material, including the "offcuts" generated during the production process, minimizing waste and maximizing its potential.

This initiative has led to the creation of unique products such as "SONO Beans" and "SONO Clay," made from repurposed wood offcuts. We are proud to donate a portion of the proceeds from these products to organizations dedicated to safeguarding the planet and its future, including "more trees"(*1) for forest conservation and the "Japan Committee for UNICEF"(*2) to protect the health and lives of children worldwide.

Our commitment to social responsibility extends beyond environmental sustainability. We have organized charity auctions to support children's facilities and disaster relief efforts, and dispatched furniture repair teams to assist customers affected by natural disasters.
We remain dedicated to creating furniture that can be cherished for generations, contributing to a more sustainable society through various initiatives.

*1 We make an annual donation of ¥300,000 to the forest conservation organization “more trees.” This donation is made possible by the sales of our products crafted from repurposed wood offcuts.
*2 We donate 10% of the proceeds from our products made with offcuts to the Japan Committee for UNICEF.
