GALA Seti

A new product was created by joining together scraps of wood from the manufacturing process of a popular product. The thickness of the wood comfortably supports the body, providing a strange sense of security. The distinctive shape of the legs adds a humorous touch.

The seat surface is made of solid pine wood with an “Uzukuri” process, which digs out the grain of the wood, and a “distressing” process, which adds scratches, gouges, and insect holes, and removes and blurs the paint, to give it the look of an antique product.
