How did this series come into being? It was Chiang Mai, the ancient capital of Thailand. I visited Chiang Mai, brought the inspiration I got there back to Japan, and arranged it in the style of the Hirosatsu, and the “EX” series was born. Nostalgia and novelty coexist, and it looks like a part of scenery you have seen somewhere, but it also looks like a form you have found for the first time. Made of teak wood from Myanmar, it is carefully carved out to preserve its unique flavor, leaving its individual characteristics such as knots, cracks, and insect holes as they are. The uneven shimmering, which can only be created by hand-finishing, will fit in your hand, body, and space.
