The clear outline of the door is impressive, but the wooden door does not look bulky, giving this writing bureau a light and airy feel. When the door is opened, it can be used as a simple desk, and there is plenty of storage space at the bottom. The shallow depth allows it to be placed compactly in the living room or bedroom.
The panel is set slightly back from the outline of the door, and the legs are set even further back, giving the impression of a three-dimensional surface without being noticeable.
