The Magical Literature Museum (Edogawa Ward Eiko Kadono Children's Literature Museum), where you can find your favorite books and is inspired by the world of the works of Eiko Kadono, a children's literature author with ties to Edogawa Ward who is known as the author of "Kiki's Delivery Service," opened on Friday, November 3, 2023 (national holiday) in Nagisa Park in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo.
Hiromatsu Mokko has been working with Eiko Kadono on events that we have organized, such as the "Picture Book Carnival" and the "Eiko Kadono World Exhibition." The "Magical Literature Museum" uses the Rabbit Chair, a children's furniture from the "WF Series," designed by Hiromatsu Mokko, as the museum's fixtures.
In the library on the second floor, where you can read 10,000 books, you can find the WF Rabbit Chair* in Kadono's image color, strawberry color. There are three sizes of rabbit chairs, large, medium and small, arranged to create a space where both adults and children can spend time together. The sight of many strawberry-colored rabbits lined up is very cute.
The special edition Rabbit Chair is also available for limited sale at the shop in the building. The Rabbit Shelf from the "WF Series," developed with the concept of "a bookshelf that can hold a child's 30 favorite books," is also available for sale.

The concept of the "WF Series" overlaps with the creation of spaces scattered throughout the "Magical Literature Museum" where children can freely pick up a book and let their imagination run wild.
"Books have an invisible, mysterious power. It is a magical power that touches the heart of the reader and continues to encourage them throughout their life. Books offer discovery. They offer adventure. They offer the joy of imagination. Nothing would make me happier than if everyone who visits the Museum of Literature finds their own unique magic and takes it home with them," says Kadono Eiko.
Please come and visit the Magical Literature Museum to discover many exciting discoveries.
