Hiromatsu Woodworks Spring Fair 2024
This year, we have planned a variety of events so that we can see many smiling faces. We hope that it will be an event where "users" and "makers" can meet and have fun. We look forward to seeing you at the store.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Noto Peninsula earthquake relief fund through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

WORKSHOP | Workshop
This is a workshop where you can create furniture using natural wood together with furniture craftsmen.

We weave the seats of kids' chairs, stools, and low-back chairs. This time, we will also reweave the seats of kids' chairs only. Please bring in your own kids' chair and we will reweave it beautifully yourself. There are 36 seat color patterns in total. Please make your own chair with your favorite color!
* Seat reweaving is only available for Shaker Kids Chairs.
* Seat reweaving is available only by prior reservation.
*There are slots available for same-day orders except for seat reweaving.
*Due to limited availability, only one chair per person is available.

This is a workshop where you can enjoy the sound of natural wood. You will make cute castanets that look like round macarons. The sound may differ depending on the type of wood. Please enjoy the gentle texture and gentle sound of natural wood.

When making Hiromatsu Mokko furniture, we have small pieces of wood and fabric that come off. What can you make by sticking them together and painting them?
● Make your own chopsticks | Registration will be held at the venue on the day

You can make your own chopsticks that fit comfortably in your hand using wood species such as maple, walnut, oak, cherry, and teak, which are used in Hiromatsu Mokko furniture. We will finish them with food-grade oil, which is also used for finishing furniture. Try making chopsticks of your favorite length, from small chopsticks that your child will use for the first time, to chopsticks for cooking.

We will be making a small "birdhouse inside the house" using cedar wood from Hita. It can be used as a storage box for indoor use or as interior decoration. We will be selling both outdoor and small indoor birdhouses, so please come and see them in person.
*The birdhouse inside the house is not an outdoor nesting box but an indoor storage box.

Merchandised items from the "NEWCOMER" works announced last year will be unveiled and released.

We will be unveiling and releasing the "NEW COMER" works that were announced last year and voted for, and that have been selected for commercialization.
About "NEW COMER" "NEW COMER" is an in-house project that Hiromatsu Mokko has been running since 1994 as part of its efforts to create original furniture. It is a creative activity led by young employees of Hiromatsu Mokko. Various works were born from this activity and have been commercialized, including the "SONO series," which has now become the face of Hiromatsu Mokko.

After the event at the headquarters, an online auction will also be held.

The auction will take place at the furniture factory on the day of the event.
You can enjoy looking at the actual items. Many products that are not normally available for purchase, such as limited edition items and prototypes, will be up for auction.
